Equipment Rental

Equipment may be rented by calling the office at 812-752-2269, extension 3 to have your name added to the waiting list. Anyone interested in using any of the rental equipment is required to sign an Equipment Rental Agreement. You may stop by our office to do this, or you may print out the Agreement from the link provided below, sign it, and forward it to the office via fax machine (812-752-7066)or bring the form in when you come to pick up the equipment.  A General Sales Tax Exemption Certificate should also be submitted for waiver of sales tax.

Ag Lime Spreader

This 6 ton Ag Lime Spreader may be rented at any time at the following rates:

Less than 40 tons = $50/day + $6/ton

41 tons - 99 tons = $20/day + $4/ton

100 tons or more = $20/day + $3/ton

 

Warm Season Grass Drill

Warm Season Grass Drill rents for $10 per acre.

 

This 7' Truax Warm Season Grass Drill may be rented at any time at the cost of $10 per acre.  Minimum charge is $35.
 


Straw Crimper

Crimper rents for $25 per day.

 

This Straw Crimper may be rented at any time at the cost of $25 per day.


 

No-Till Tobacco Setter

This No-Till Tobacco Setter may be rented at any time at the following rates:

1-4.9 acres = $35 per acre
5-9.9 acres = $30 per acre
10+ acres = $25 per acre   


(must be transported with full size pickup)

1.  Remove tray holders and place in your truck during transport.
2.  Remove plant cups and place in your truck during transport.
3.  Do not exceed 30 m.p.h. speed limit.
4.  Disinfect setter prior to using the setter.  Bleach is the recommended disinfectant. A dial-a-spray dispenser is attached to the setter.  Fill the dispenser with bleach and set dial to 8 to rinse setter.
5.  Please rinse off setter and disinfect after completing use.
6.  Remember that others plan to use this piece of equipment so maintain as if it were yours.

Seed Slinger

 

$5.00 per day

The "SEED SLINGER" is used for broadcasting fluffy, chaffy seed and small flowable seed on areas that are too small, too steep, or inaccessible for other types of seeding equipment.


 No-Till Drill 

 

The Series 2015 Tye No-Till Drill is 15' wide with coulter caddy.  Has four hydraulic hoses, with harrow.  1994 model.  The No-Till Drill may be rented at any time at the cost of $9 per acre.
