To further demonstrate to farmers and non-farmers alike, the commitment of the Indiana Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts, Inc., Indiana Office of the Commissioner of Agriculture, and Indiana Farm Bureau, Inc. to the conservation of Indiana's natural resources. |
| Conservation Farmer Award Indiana’s Conservation Farmers of the Year are Indiana farmers who actively incorporate and practice conservation on the land. The award is sponsored by Indiana Farm Bureau Inc. in cooperation with the Indiana Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts. Five Indiana farmers are honored as the top conservation-minded producers in the Hoosier State each year at the annual Conservation Awards banquet. The event is part of the Annual Conference for Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Districts held in downtown Indianapolis each January. |

| Friend of Conservation Award The Friend of Conservation award recognizes those who have made an outstanding contribution to soil and water conservation in Indiana. The award is sponsored by the Indiana Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts. Up to five individuals, businesses, or organizations may be honored each year in the Hoosier state at the annual Indiana Conservation Awards banquet. The event is part of the Annual Conference for Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Districts to be held in Indianapolis each January.

Poster Contest The annual National Conservation Poster Contest provides kindergarten through twelfth grade students an opportunity to convey their thoughts about soil, water and related natural resource issues through art. It also highlights the educational outreach efforts of conservation districts and their state conservation associations, auxiliaries and agencies.
